History

From humble beginnings in 1961, Alf Kalin Contracting began… with a 65 Massey Ferguson and model 46 International square baler.

Harvesting 35,000 bales in his first year, Alf decided it was a good idea to get another baler… and from there the business of contracting for other farmers began to take shape.

In the early 1980s, Paul Kalin took on the business and began expanding services and machinery, to suit the demands of the changing dairy industry.

Over the last three decades, Paul has grown the business to cater for larger scale farming, with an eye on providing a ‘we deliver’ attitude.

2016 has seen Alastair form Kalin Contracting Limited and the legacy continuing, keeping in mind the quality and service that has been serving the Taranaki community for over 55 years.

“As we have done over the last 50 years, we aim to grow with farmers, support their needs and deliver quality service to our valued clients”.
